Typos Print works without a licence, except for copier terminals. Buy the licence when you put the copiers into service.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), or Windows Server 2016 or later.
  • 4 GB of memory and 2 GB of disk space.
  • Preferably the company’s print server.
  • Administrator rights to install the Windows services.

Installation at a glance

  1. Extract the archive to a folder with a short path, for example C:\TyposPrint.
  2. Initialise from PowerShell: powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\Initialiser.ps1 -NomServeur print.company.local. The database, the secrets and a certificate are created.
  3. Install the Windows services as administrator: .\Installer-Services.ps1.
  4. Open the displayed address in a browser: the first-start wizard creates the administrator account.

After purchase: install the licence

The licence (licence.json file) arrives by email after payment. In the console, open Serveur › Licence (Server › Licence) and click Charger licence.json (Load licence.json). Its signature, domain and dates are checked before installation.

For a renewal or extra terminals, the Mettre à jour la licence (Update licence) button fetches the latest licence from the licensing service.

Typos Print updates

In the console, Serveur › Mises à jour › Rechercher une mise à jour (Server › Updates › Check for updates) tells you whether a new version is available, with a link to this page and the update guide. The check only runs when you click; nothing is downloaded or installed automatically.
