This website
This website sets no cookies and uses no audience measurement script or trackers. Its web server keeps a technical log of visits (IP address, date, requested page, referring site, browser), kept for 14 days for security purposes.
Buying a licence
Purchases take place on licences.scolatools.com. Order data (buyer, company, domain, billing) are processed there under the terms of sale and the ScolaTools privacy policy.
The Typos Print software
Typos Print is installed and operated by the customer on its own server, and the customer is the controller of the processing carried out there. No data about its users is sent to the publisher. Typos Print only connects to the publisher at the administrator’s request, in two cases:
- Update licence: queries licences.scolatools.com with the domain name and the licence number;
- Check for updates: reads the public file typos-print.com/version.json, with no cookie and no data other than the request itself. Like any visit, it leaves the server’s IP address in the website log, kept for 14 days.
No check ever runs in the background, at start-up or on a schedule.
