Frequently asked questions
What is a copier terminal?
An active identification terminal in front of a copier: a web kiosk (tablet or the copier’s browser) or an embedded app. Payment stations and disabled terminals are not counted. Beyond the number purchased, the most recent terminals are blocked.
Are printers counted?
No. Printers are unlimited and never depend on the licence.
What is the licence tied to?
The company’s Active Directory domain, given at purchase (for example “company.local”). The same domain is set in Typos Print.
What happens without a licence or when it ends?
Only copier terminals are blocked: they display “Photocopieur indisponible” (copier unavailable). Printing, accounts, quotas and reports keep working. The licence end date includes a 14-day grace period.
How do I add terminals during the year?
Buy the offer for the new number of terminals for the same domain. It takes effect as soon as it is issued and runs until one year after the current end date, with no proration. In Typos Print, the “Update licence” button installs it.
Does the licence renew automatically?
No. A reminder is sent by email before the end date; an early renewal starts the day after the current end date.
Why “VAT not applicable”?
The seller uses the French VAT exemption scheme for small businesses (art. 293 B of the French tax code): the displayed price is the price paid, with no VAT to add.
